説教あらすじ 「『人の最善』と『神の最善』」 (10/06/2012)
[ヨハネ11:7-16]
◆「人が思いつく最善」と「神がなさる最善」とは、どんな風に違うのか？
①『最善』を妨げるものは、私たちの外側にではなく、内側にある。[7-10節]
・私たちは「材料やお金は十分にあるか？」「どんなリスクが考えられるか？」などを問題にするが、最も大切
なのは「今自分は間違いなく光の中（神のみこころの中）を歩んでいる」という確信。
②永遠に残るもの。[11-13節]
・キリストにある永遠のいのちを知らない人々にとっては、『死』は最大の脅威。従って、彼らの思いつく『最善』
は「死を忘れさせてくれるこの世の楽しみ」であり、それらは私たちの心から神を閉め出す。
・一方、キリストを知る者にとっては、死は『眠り』でしかない。すなわち「神の与える最善」は、死のこちら側に
も向こう側にも存在する『神との豊かな関係』に基づくもの。（「神への信頼」「神との共通体験」「神への愛」など）
③自己満足ではなく、周囲にも良い香りを放つ。[14-16節]
・「神が与える最善」の本質は、イベントそのものにあるのではなく、その目的にある。（状況が変わることではなく、
神との交わりを通して、私たち自身が変えられること。） キリストが私たちに与える豊かさは、私たちを喜びで満たす
だけで終わってしまうことなく、私たちの周囲へと広がっていく。
★あなたの心は、神がその最善をもってアプローチなさるために、開かれていますか？

[John 11:7-16]
◆ How different is 「God’s best」 from 「Man’s best」？
① Obstacles to “God’s best” is not outside but inside of us. [Verses 7-10]
・We often mind whether 「we have enough money or not.」 or 「what kind of risks we are taking.」. But the
most important issue is to make sure that “We are walking in the light (in God’s will)”.
② It lasts forever. [Verses 11-13]
・“Death” is the greatest threat for those who do not know Jesus, so they seek pleasures of this world as
their best thing to release themselves from that fear. In fact, these shut God out of our mind！
・Death means only “a sleep” for Christians. It does not limit “God’s best” at all. His best is for both now
and the time to come. It is based on 『the relationship with God』 such as ‘faith’, ‘hope’, ‘love’…
③ Not self-satisfactory but for the public benefit. [Verses 14-16]
・The essence of 「God’s best」 is not an event itself but the purpose of the event. (Not to change
circumstances but to change ourselves.) God bless us with His best so that we will be the blessing for others.
