説教あらすじ 「知識と信仰」 (04/12/2011)
◎[ヨハネ7:25-36] ＊ここに５種類の人々が登場している。
①エルサレムのある人たち [25-27節] －いろんなことを知っているらしい。
・イエスの反応 [28-29節] 「わたしは、あなたがたが知らないことも知っているよ。」
・人々の反応 [30節] 自分のプライドの故に「カチン」ときた。➝ [Ⅰコリント8:1-2]
②群衆 [31節] － イエスを信じた。「自分よりも優れたもの」を見たから。（但し、以前として『奇跡』に依存）
③祭司長・パリサイ人 [32節]
・イエスを捕らえようとした。（群衆の様子を見て、「自分たちの立場が危うくなる」と感じたから。）
④ユダヤ人たち [35-36節] ①の人々とほぼ同じ。
・イエスについて互いに論じたが、イエスご自身のもとへは行こうとしない。
（自分たちの理解を越えたことに遭遇しても、神を求めず、自分たちの知識の範囲内で理解しようとする）
◆①～④の人々を観察して分かること。
・「どれだけのことを知っているか？」ということよりも、「それらが何のためにあるのか？」を知っておくこと
の方が重要。➝ [箴言1:7]
⑤イエス [28-29節]
・神に基づいて「自分が何者であるか」を理解していた。神との関係を無視しては、自分の存在理由なし。これは危険
なように見えて、実は最も安全。「神がお許しにならない限り、危険なことは起こらない」と知っているから。[30節]
★まず「主を恐れる（神がすべての源）」ことを知ろう。
そしてその「初めの知識」を土台に、自分の知識や判断・行動を積み上げていこう！

◎[John 7:25-36]
①The people of Jerusalem. [Verse 25-27] －They seem to know many things.
・Jesus’ response. [Verse 28-29] 「I know something you do not know.」
・Their response. [Verse 30] They go angry for their pride. ➝ [ⅠCorinthians 8:1-2]
②The crowd. [Verse 31] － They believed in Jesus (for the miracles). They seem not having much knowledge.
③The chief priests and the Pharisees. [Verse 32]
・They tried to arrest Jesus.（Because they felt insecure for their status.）
④The Jews. [Verse 35-36] Almost the same with ①
・They said to one another but did not go to Jesus to ask. （They never try to go beyond their own knowledge.）
◆ Observations from ①～④.
・「What the knowledge is based on」 is more important than 「How much we know」. ➝ [Proverbs 1:7]
⑤Jesus. [Verse 28-29]
・Every knowledge he had were based on the Father. He was nothing unless God was with him. It sounds quite
Insecure, yet it is the safest. Jesus knew that God was always in control for everything. [Verse 30]
★Teach ourselves first to “Fear God”, then put other knowledge and make all the decisions (actions) based on it!
