説教あらすじ 「『つまずき』を乗り越えよう！」 (16/10/2011)
◎[ヨハネ6:41-51] ＊今日は、私たちの信仰生活における「つまずき」について考える。
①「イエスが天から下って来た」ということに対するつまずき [41-42節]
・イエスの出生に関する秘話。[ルカ1:30-35] ・しかもずっと以前から預言されていた。[マタイ1:20-23]
・「聖書にこういう奇跡の記事がなければ信じるのに…」という人がいる。しかし、私たちにとっては奇跡でも
神にとっては不可能はない。[ルカ1:37] 聖書を文字通り信じられない人は、「神を信じようとしている」
のではなく、「自分の常識や理解力」を神としてしまっている。[ルカ1:45]
②「救われるために、人は何もできない」ということに対するつまずき [44節]
・すなわち「救われる人はあらかじめ決まっている。運命であって、誰もどうすることもできない」という考え。
これは部分的に正解。確かに「私たちが自分の救いのためにできること」はない。ただ信じるだけ。[47節]
・但し、同時に私たちが知っておくべきことは「神は法則のような方ではなく、人格を持っている」ということ。
イエスは神の完全な現れ。彼は嘆き、怒り、そして愛した。神は私たちの祈りを聞かれる。
私たちは誰が信じるようになり、誰が最後まで信じないかなんて分からない。ただはっきりしているのは、
「もし私たちが宣べ伝えなかったら、彼らは滅びる」ということ。
③「イエスの肉を食べる」ということに対するつまずき [51節]
・文字通りの意味を考えるならばおぞましいが、事実イエスは私たちの身代わりに十字架に『釘付け』にさ
れた。それはある意味「その肉を食べること」同様にむごい。
・『聖餐式』はイエスの十字架のわざを思い起こすための儀式だが、「イエスの肉を食べる」ようなもの。
・クリスチャンにとって、イエスの十字架が「つまずき」になることはないが、逆に『当たり前』になってしまって
はいないだろうか？私たちは日々この『イエスの犠牲』を直視しているだろうか？➝ [ピリピ2:6-8]
Outline of the sermon “We shall overcome ‘Stumbling blocks’.” (16/10/2011)
◎[John 6:41-51] ＊Let’s think about possible ‘stumbling blocks’ for our faith walk.
① Stumbling block of ‘Jesus came down from heaven’. [Verse 41-42]
・Secret of his birth. [Luke 1:30-35] ・It was prophesied. [Matthew 1:20-23]
・Some people cannot believe ‘miracles’ but nothing is impossible for God. [Luke 1:37]
・We have to believe what God says rather than what is comprehensible. [Luke 1:45]
② Stumbling block of ‘We can do nothing to be saved’. [Verse 44]
・Which means, ‘God has already decided who to believe. It is like a destiny. No one can do anything !’
This is partly true. We can definitely do nothing to be saved except believing. [Verse 47]
・At the same time, however, we should know that ‘God is not just a principle but has personality’. Jesus
is the exact representation of God. He moaned, laughed, and loved. God answers our prayer. We can
never tell who will believe or not, but only thing we know is: ‘they will perish if we do not preach’.
③ Stumbling block of ‘Eating flesh of Jesus’. [Verse 51]
・It sounds very horrifying. But in fact, Jesus was ‘nailed’ on the cross which sounds as terrible as
‘eating his flesh’. “Holy Communion” is also symbolizing ‘having flesh of Jesus which is broken for us’.
・This cannot be ‘Stumbling block’ for Christians. But aren’t you taking it for granted? His sacrifice only
enable us to come before God. So fix our eyes on Jesus! ➝ [Philippians 2:6-8]
