説教あらすじ 「『真理』によって愛する」 (17/05/2020)
◆真実の愛 [Ⅰヨハネ３：16-20] ([ヨハネ３：16]は大変有名だが、この[Ⅰヨハネ３：16]もかなり重要)
・「相手のために自分のいのちを捨てる」は、一般的な『愛』の概念とは相当かけはなれている。具体的には、「他の人のいのちを豊かにするために、自分自身のいのちにとって価値あるものを喜んでささげる」こと。
・いわばヨハネは私たちに次のような選択を迫っている。
①「自分の都合を優先して生きる」か？ ②キリストのわざを見るために「自分の都合を後回し」に生きるか？
・パウロは「自分の弱さ」を認める中で、この②（自分を通して現されるキリストの力）を経験した。[Ⅱコリント１２：9]
◆『真理』に属する者[１８～１９節]
・『真実の愛』は「自分の気持ち」ではなく「真理であるキリスト」から来る。『自分』に依存した信仰は「自分自身の前だけ」での平安をもたらすが、『真理』に依存した信仰は「神の御前における全き平安」を約束している。
・「自分が良いと思うこと，したいこと，できること」を「自分のタイミング」で行うのに『信仰』は要らない。しかし「相手のために自分の全てを主にあって差し出すこと」は『信仰』を要求する。そんな時「主よ、私にはできませんが、あなたならできます！」と自分自身を差し出してみよう。『教会』は、そのような「信仰表現のための練習場」。

①「真実をもって愛する（１８節）」とは、どんな風に愛することですか？ どうすればそれが可能になりますか？
②「自分の心が責めたとしても安らかでいられる（２０節）」のは何故ですか？ この平安はどこから来るのでしょう？
③「自分の弱さを通してキリストの力が現された経験」があったら、互いに分かち合いましょう。

◆True love. [ⅠJohn ３：16-20] ([ⅠJohn ３：16] is as important as [John ３：16].)
“True Love” is the willingness to give up what is important in your life to enrich the life of other’s.
・It seems John is letting us to choose one or the other…
①Prioritize ourselves than others. ②Prioritize others than ourselves to see Christ revealed in our lives.
・Paul experienced “being covered by the power of Christ” when he accepted his “weakness”. [ⅡCorinthians１２：9]
◆Belong to the truth. [Verses １８～１９]
・“True love & peace” belong to Christ. We can never experience them as long as we depend of ourselves.
・Doing things “in our own way, own timing with our own strength and idea” never requires “faith”. But once we start trying to lay down ourselves for someone else, we realize that there is no power to do it within us so we seek Christ’s strength. “Church” is the place we can “put our faith into practice” regardless of pretending.
