説教あらすじ 「『神の栄光を現す』とは？」 (05/04/2020)
◆「自分のため」ではなく… [Ⅰコリント６：19-20]
・「自分のからだをもって神の栄光を現す」と聞くと、つい「自分のための神の計画」を追求しようとしてしまう。しかしここでパウロは『私たちのからだ』に関して「神から受けた聖霊の宮」であって「自分自身のものではない」と断言している。従って「自己実現のための神の計画を求めること」は『神の栄光』を現すことでも何でもない！
・パウロは同じ手紙の中（Ⅰコリント１２：4-7）で「神がすべての働きをなさる」、また「皆の益となるために、御霊の現れがある」と言っている。私たち１人１人は「自分の目標達成」ではなく、『神の目標達成』のために共に働く存在。
◆『競争』ではなく、『協力』
・『教会』は、様々な年代の人々が「呼び集められた」ユニークな共同体なので『競争』が起こりにくい。１人１人が内なる聖霊の働きによって日々「本来あるべき自分」へと回復されつつある。そんな私たちが『協力』する時、そこにかもし出されるのは「自己実現」ではなく『神の夢の実現』。これこそが『神の栄光を現す』ということ。
＊「キリストのからだ」[Ⅰコリント１２：27]として共に『神の栄光を現す』ため、まず各自が「体の各部分」として、神に整えられて行きましょう！

Outline of the sermon “How do we ‘honor God’?” (05/04/2020)
◆It is “not” about yourself at all. [ⅠCorinthians ６：19-20]
・When we read “honor God with your body”, we tend to think of “God’s plan for my life”. What Paul is really saying here is
“Our bodies belong to the Holy Spirit but not to ourselves”, so “seeking God’s plan for me” is not at all “honoring God”！
・In his same letter（ⅠCorinthians１２：4-7） Paul wrote “in everyone it is the same God at work” or “to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good”. We are supposed to work together for “common good” by the Spirit.
◆It is not “Competition” but “Cooperation.
・When we meet as same age group, it may cause “competition”. “Church” is consist of many different age people so they can “cooperate”. We are being restored by the Spirit day by day, and “God’s vision (not our dreams)” becomes our greatest desire to work for. This is “how God may be honored” among us.
＊Let each of us be restored before God as “each part of Christ’s body”(ⅠCorinthians１２：27) to honor God together！
