[ピリピ人への手紙４章１～３節]

◆『主にあって』とは？（１節）

　・パウロは彼の手紙の中で「主にあって」「キリストにあって」という表現を４０回以上も使っている。彼にとって『クリスチャン』とはまさに「キリストにあって歩む者」であった。「キリストにある歩み」とは、「自分はこう思う、こうしたいから…」ではなく、「私の主イエスが望んでおられるから」という理由で選択・行動する、言わば『愛による選択』。

　・主イエスは「わたしがあなたがたを愛したように（ヨハネ１３：３４）」とおっしゃった。つまり「主にあって歩むこと」は、キリストの愛を個人的に受け取り、日々経験しているのでなければできないこと。その愛とは、十字架で身代わりに死なれた愛、すなわち「この世のものを用いて自分を喜ばせることを放棄した愛」である。[ヨハネ１５：5]

◆一致できない理由（２～３節）

　・ピリピの教会にさえも、一致できないでいる人々がいた。彼らはパウロと共に「福音のために戦った人たち」であった。この点では一致できていたのなら、きっと一致できないでいたのは些細なことであったに違いない。パウロ　 はここでも「『主にあって』同じ思いになれ」と言っている。「同じ思いになれない」のは、『自己実現』にこだわるから。つまり「キリストが主」ではなく、『自分』が主人公になってしまっているのである。パウロは「自分は世に対して　 十字架にかけられた（ガラテヤ６：14）」と言った。互いに協力し合い、助け合いながら「主にある歩み」をして行こう！

　②[ヨハネ１５：5]でイエスが言われた「わたしを離れては、あなたがたは何もできない」とは、どういうことでしょう？

　③どんなものが「キリスト者の一致」を妨げますか？ また、どのようにしてそれらを避けることができますか？

[Philippians 4:1~3]

◆What is “in the Lord” like？（Verse １）

　・In his letters Paul used the expression like “in the Lord” “In Christ” over 40 times.  He believed that THIS IS “the　Christian life”.  Neither “because I think it is right” nor “because I want to” but “because Christ desires me to do it” must be the reason.  In other words, “making choice according to our love for Christ”.

　・Christ told his disciples to “love one another as I have loved you”（John１３：３４）.  We can never love like this unless we experience love of Jesus personally.  All we need is not “knowledge” nor “talents” but “JESUS”！[John１５：5]

◆How can we agree with each other？（Verses ２～３）

　・There seems to be some “disagreement” among church in Philippi.  They used to labor side by side with Paul in the gospel so what were they disagreeing about?  Probably matters of earthly things.  Paul wrote, “Agree in the  Lord!”  We cannot agree as long as we stick to our own taste or style.  We must put “CHRIST” first and crucify things on the earth！（Galatians ６：14）  Stand firm in the Lord and help one another to let Jeus shine on us！

Today’s main point：   Make each choice in Christ.

　①What is “in the Lord” like？ Why do you think Paul used this expression so many times in his letters？

　②What do you think Jesus meant when he said, “apart from me you can do nothing” in [John 15:5]？

　③What can be hindrances of our “agreement”？  And how can we avoid those things？
