説教あらすじ 「福音を説く（６）」 (25/08/2024)
＊我々クリスチャンにとって「信じる」という感覚は既に身に付いているが、そうでない人々にとっては「信じる」とはどういったものなのかよく分からないというのが、実際のところ。今日は２つのポイントから『信仰』について説く。
◆『信仰』とは「方向性」である [ヨハネ８：12]
・『光』を体験するには、自分が光の方を向かなければならない。光に背を向けていたら「自分の影」を見ながら生きて行くことになる。また光と自分の間に何か遮るものを置いたら光を体験できないように、神との間に「勝手な 先入観」や「神よりも優先するもの」を置いていたら、神を正しく感知する（信じる）ことはできない。
◆『信仰』とは「応答」である [ヤコブ２：19]
・神は私たちを「ロボットのように操れる存在」としては造らず、「自由意志を持つ存在」として創造された。それ故、私たちはたとえ神を認識したとしても、拒むこともできる。悪魔や悪霊どもは「私たち以上に神をよく知っている」が、彼らは敢えて神に逆らい、私たちをも神に近づかせないように働いている。
・神からの「聖書」「被造物」「イエス・キリスト」を通しての啓示に対し、へりくだって「あなたが主権者であり、私ではありません。あなたを私の人生の王であり主として歓迎します。どうぞ私の人生を導いてください。従います」という態度で応答するなら、神は更に私たちの心を引き寄せてくださる。これが『信仰』の正しい姿である。[ヤコブ４：8]
今日の要点
『信仰』は「方向性」であり、「応答」である。

①『信仰』の２つの特徴は何ですか？ 何故そう言えると思いますか？
②『方向性』という観点で自分自身の信仰を顧みて、自分の信仰を自分なりに評価してみましょう。
③今までの神様に対するあなたの応答はどうでしたか？ 更に改善の余地があるならば、どのような点でしょう？

＊We, Christians can understand what “faith” is like, whereas, others don’t really understand the concept of “faith”. So today we are going to investigate what “faith” is really like from two points of view.
◆“Faith” involves “direction”. [John ８：12]
・We can never experience “light” unless we face it. Like “a satellite dish”, it should turn to the right direction otherwise it won’t catch the wave. It is not matter of “satellite” but matter of “the direction” that dish is looking.
God wouldn’t move according to our preference. We ought to seek the right direction to meet Him.
◆ “Faith” involves “response”. [James ２：19]
・God created us with “freewill” so we can reject Him even if we recognized Him. The devils are doing the same. They know God far better than we do but being rebellious and trying hard to make us not come closer to God.
・But if we humble ourselves before God and say, “Lord, You are revealing Yourself to me through Scriptures, Creation and Your Son, Jesus, so I recognize You and welcome You into my life as my Lord and my King. Please guide my life and I will follow You”, God will draw near to you. This is “faith” that pleases God. [James ４：8]

①What are two characters of “faith”？ What aspects of “faith” do you think they are reflecting？
②Please evaluate your faith in the aspect of “direction”. Is there anything you should adjust？
③How good have your responses to God been？ How can you improve it from now？
