説教あらすじ 「母の日メッセージ」 (12/05/2024)
＊聖書の登場人物で『母親』と言えば？― マリア、サラ、ナオミ、ハンナ、バテシェバ、イゼベル…
◆ハンナの物語（Ⅰサムエル記１章）
・[１～８節]ハンナは夫から愛されてはいたが、「自分には息子がいない（胎が閉じられている）」ということをひどく気に病んでいた。そして彼女は１人宮に上り、祈った。[９～１８節] 心を注ぎ出して祈り終え、祭司から祝福の言葉をもらったハンナは「もはや以前のようではなかった」。まだ『祈りの答え』そのものはもらっていなかったが、「自分の祈りは神に届いた」という確信が、彼女の心を癒した。このレベルまで「祈り込む」ことが大きな力となる。
・結果ハンナは身ごもり、男の子（サムエル）を産む。子供が乳離れすると、彼女は請願通り主に献げ、サムエルはやがて偉大な預言者となる。神様は１人の母親の祈りを通して、ご自分の民に大きな祝福をもたらした。
◆モニカ（聖アウグスティヌスの母）の物語
・モニカは敬虔なキリスト者だったが、夫の暴力や浮気、また息子アウグスティヌスの放蕩に悩まされた。しかし彼女は夫と息子の救いのために祈り続け、やがて夫は亡くなる１年前に回心。息子アウグスティヌスも、彼女の２０ 年来の祈りの末に劇的な回心を遂げ、やがてキリスト教界の歴史に大きな影響を及ぼす人物として用いられる。
・これらのことを通して分かるのは、①母親の『子供に対する思い』の強さ ②母親の真摯な信仰を、神は決して軽んじない ということ。『母親たち』は、このことを肝に銘じ、霊に燃えて主に仕え、たゆまず家族のために祈り続け よう。また『信仰が与えられている子供たち』は、自分のために積まれていた『母親の祈り』を深く感謝しよう！

②神は何故、ハンナ、またモニカの『desperateな祈り』に答えてくださったのだと思いますか？

◆Hannah’s story.（ⅠSamuel chapter１）
・[Verses１～８] Hannah was troubled for she had no child even she was being loved by her husband. So she
went to the Lord’s temple alone and prayed. [Verses ９～１８] After she poured out her soul to the Lord in
prayer, her face was no longer downcast. She knew that her prayer reached to the heart of God.
・Hannah conceived and gave birth to a son(Samuel). She dedicated him to the Lord and Samuel had become
one of the greatest prophets in Jews history.
◆Monica’s story.（St. Augustine’s mother）
・Monica was a faithful believer but troubled by her violent husband and naughty son, Augustine. Yet, Monica
kept praying for them and her husband finally came to the Lord just a year before he died. Augustine also
became a believer after 20 years of her prayer then she passed away 1 year later. Augustine became one of
the most influential leaders in Christian history and wrote some great books.
・Mums, God would never neglect your sincere prayers. So never cease to pray！ Children, don’t forget that
there was your mom’s prayer behind your salvation. Be grateful for that and walk faithfully in the Lord！
