説教あらすじ 「信仰によって生きる」 (07/01/2024)
[へブル人への手紙 １１章１～７節]
◆信仰とは？
・[１～２節] 『肉眼』は「目に見えるもの」を人に確信させ、『信仰』は「目に見えない事柄（神に属するもの，将来のことなど）」を人に確信させる。『信仰』は単に「主観的・個人的確信」ではなく、『神の約束』という確かなものの保証に裏付けられている。それは、私たちの『救い』が「キリストの十字架」に保証されているのと同じ。これらのことから、『信仰』というもの分かりやすい定義は：「まだ見ていない『神の約束の成就』を確信して今を生きること」。
・「信仰の実体」は、「信仰によって生きた人々」を通して知ることができる。ここからはその『信仰者たち』の記録。
◆見倣うべき信仰者たち
・[４節] カインとアベルの違いは「神へのささげ物そのものの差」というよりも、「神に対する心の態度の差」。カインの心にはアベルに対する『対抗意識』があったと思われる。「人との比較」は、私たちの『信仰』を歪める。
・[５節] これに対しエノクは、創世記５章の記述も参考にすると、「神とともに歩んだ」。[ミカ６：8]
・[６節] 『信仰』は、ただ神を求め、神を深く知り、その神に魅了されて心を動かされ、自然な反応として現れるもの。この『信仰』が神の心を揺さぶる。「正しく神を知り、正しく応答すること」を神は望んでおられる。
・[７節] ノアはアベルのようにまっすぐに神を見つめ、エノクのように神と共に歩んだ。彼のように「たとえこの世の流れに逆らい、人々から嘲られたとしても、神に従う」という姿勢を、今年は見倣って生きよう！[Ⅱコリント５：7-10]

[Hebrews 11：1～7]
◆What is “Faith” all about？
・[Verses１～２] “Eyes” assures what we can see, and “faith” assures what we cannot see. “Faith” stands on
“God’s promises” just as our “salvation” stands on “Jesus’ crucifixion”. So we can define “faith” like this:
To live this moment with believing that God will surely fulfill what He promised which we haven’t seen yet.
・We can learn “substance of faith” through “those who walked by faith” in the history.
◆Those who walked “by faith”.
・[Verse ４] The difference between Cain and Abel is not their “sacrifice itself” but their “heart towards God”.
Cain had “sense of rivalry” to Abel. When we compare ourselves with others, our “faith” goes wrong way.
・[Verse ５] Enoch did not fail his faith. He may be lonely but “walked with God”. [Micah ６：8]
・[Verse ６] “Faith” is built by seeking God, knowing God and being fascinated by God. It is revealed as our
natural response towards Him. This kind of “faith” pleases God.
・[Verse ７] Noah looked at God like Abel did, and walked with God like Enoch did. Let us go forward this year
like him even if circumstances go against us and people mock us. That is “faith”！[ⅡCorinthians ５：7-10]
