説教あらすじ 「神の御使いとは？」 (12/02/2023)
◆神の御使いとは？
・『御使い』の原語の意味は、ヘブル語でもギリシャ語でも「メッセンジャー」、すなわち「人々に『神の御告げ』を伝える存在」。『御使い』は「神に仕える超自然的な存在」であり、性別・結婚関係などはない。[マタイ２２：30]
・『御使い』は人間に優った存在（Ⅱペテロ２：11）だが、私たち同様に『自由意志』を持ち、彼らの１部は神に反逆したことによってさばかれ、「堕天使（悪霊）」となって今も悪さを続けている。彼らに悔い改めの機会が与えられていないのは、私たちと違って「神の国の真理」をよく知っていたにも関わらず、神に反逆したからに違いない。
◆御子イエスは、御使いに優っている [へブル人への手紙１章４～１４節]
・この段落には多くの旧約聖書（主に詩篇）が引用され、御子イエスが御使いに優っていることが示されている。中には難解な箇所もあるが、[１３節]などは主イエスがご自身の「メシア性」を裏付けるものとして引用した箇所であり、『へブル人への手紙』の宛先であった「ユダヤ人たち」にとっては、これらの引用から「イエスは確かに 『神の御子』であり、『御使い』とは決定的に異なるはるかに優れた存在なのだ」ということを確認できたはず。
・「御使いについて学ぶこと」はそこまで重要ではないかもしれないが、「御使いの存在」を通して私たちは、神の私たち人間に対する深い関心を再認識することができる。[１４節，ルカ１５：10]

①今まで『御使い』とはどのような存在だと思っていましたか？ 今回の学びを通してそれが何か変化しましたか？
②もしユダヤ人たちが「イエスは御使いと同じような存在」と思っていたとしたら、それはどうしてだと思いますか？
③「御使いとの遭遇体験」を誰かから聞いたり、自分が体験したりしたことがあるなら、分かち合いましょう。
Outline of the sermon “The angels of God.” (12/02/2023)
◆What is “the angels of God”？
・They are “messengers” sent from God to serve among us. They are spiritual creatures superior to human
beings and have no genders or marriages. [ⅡPeter ２：11，Matthew ２２：30]
◆Jesus is more superior than angels. [Hebrews１：４～１４]
・There are many references from Old Testament（especially Psalm） in this paragraph to clarify the difference
between Jesus and angels. Some of them are not easy to understand but [verse 13] is the one Jesus himself
referred to explain that he is “the Messiah”. These references from Old Testament must have convinced the
readers of this letter that Jesus was much more superior than angels.
・We don’t really have to learn about “angels”. But “knowing about them” helps us understanding how much
God cares for us and does His best for our daily lives. [Verse１４，Luke１５：10]
