[マルコ １０：３２～３４]
◆エルサレムに向かうイエス [３２節]
・この時のエルサレムに向かうイエスの雰囲気が並々ならぬ様子であることを感じ取った弟子たちは、多少の戸惑いを感じているようである。他にもイエスについて行っていた人たちが「恐れを覚えた」というのがどういうことかはっきりとは分からないが、ルカの福音書の記述（１３：33）から、人々が『預言者』と認めていたイエスがエル サレムに向かおうとしていることに胸騒ぎを感じていたのかもしれない。
◆イエスの受難と私たち [３２b～３４節]
・イエスの受難告知を聞いても、弟子たちがイエスの身を案じている様子は見られない。次週の内容を見ると、むしろ「自分たちのこと」で頭がいっぱいのようだ。対照的に（ヨハネの福音書によると）べタニアのマリアは「イエスの埋葬の準備」をする。ここに「自分のためのイエス」と「イエスのための自分」という２つの考え方が見られる。
・私たちはどうだろう？もちろん「イエスのために何かができる」などとはおこがましいが、少なくとも「心を込めてイエスに従う者」（コロサイ３：23）でありたいのでは？イエスが私たちに求めておられるのは、たった１つ。それは『真実な関係』。彼は「信頼できる友」を欲している。あなたは、そんな『キリストの友』として生きたいですか？

②「自分のためのイエス」と「イエスのための自分」とではどう違うでしょう？ 自分に照らし合わせるとどうですか？
③イエスが求めておられるような『関係』に生きていますか？ そうでないならどこから変えて行けば良いでしょう？

[Mark １０：３２～３４]
◆Jesus, heading to Jerusalem. [Verse ３２]
・Those who were following Jesus felt [afraid]. We are not sure why but maybe because of what Jesus said
about Jerusalem before. [Luke13:33]. Jesus looked more focused on what was ahead than ever before.
◆How do we relate to Jesus？ [Verses ３２b～３４]
・This is his 3rd time Jesus told his disciples about his death. We cannot see any remarkable response by
disciples. Rather they seemed to be filled with their own interests. Whereas later Mary of Bethany prepared
for his burial. Here we can see 2 different perspectives. “Jesus for Me” vs “Me for Jesus”.
・What about us? Are we responding in a way Jesus seeking us to do? Are we following him wholeheartedly?
[Colossians ３：23] There is only one thing Jesus desires us to be. “His true friend”.
