説教あらすじ 「『神の栄光』の現し方」 (14/04/2019)
[Ⅰコリント６：19-20] ＊『神の栄光』とは、どのようにして現されるのか？
◆パラクレトス（原意：「援助のために側に呼ばれた者」） [ヨハネ１４：16]
・私たちはこの世にあって「主に忠実に歩もう」とする時、様々な困難に遭遇する。[ヨハネ１６：33]
・内なる御霊は「傍らに共に倒れてくれる方」（アフリカのカレ族）。「私たちを休ませ、共に重荷を負ってくださる方」。
◆弱い時にこそ、強い [Ⅱコリント１２：9]
・ここで言われている『弱さ』とは、単に「弱々しいこと」ではなく、「自分はもっと神の栄光を現す人生を歩みたい
のに、それが十分できない」というジレンマ。神はパウロに「わたしの栄光を現すのは、あなたの力や能力では
なく、不完全な者を通してでも栄光を現すことのできる、わたしの『恵み』なのだ」 と伝えておられる。
・「カッコいい自分」を神に差し出すのではなく、弱くてカッコ悪い自分を思い知らされ、そんな自分の『弱さ』をも
神の前に素直に差し出せるようになった時、神はあなたを通してご自身の栄光を現す準備ができたのである。
✰今日の大切なひと言： 神様に「自分の弱み」を握ってもらう。

[ⅠCorinthians ６：19-20] ＊How can “Glory of God” be revealed in our lives？
◆Parakletos（original meaning：“The one called for help”） [John１４：16]
・We need His help as long as we try to live faithfully to God because this world is against God. [John１６：33]
・“Parakletos” always be with us, carries our burdens and gives us rest. He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
◆When we are weak, we are strong. [ⅡCorinthians１２：9]
・This world requires us to “be strong”. That’s why we have learned to put-on a show. But such attitude can
never “honor God”. Here God is telling Paul, “it is not your strength or ability to glorify Me. My glory is
in my ‘grace’ which can be revealed not through your strength but your ‘weakness’.”
・Through troubles and hardships God teaches us how weak we are and how much help we need. When we have
learned to humble ourselves and reveal “our weaknesses” before God, we are probably ready to honor God.
