説教あらすじ 「『聖さ』を求めて生きる」 (15/03/2015)
◆『聖さ』とは？
・「聖い」と訳されているヘブル語『コーデシュ』 ＝ 「分離する」 ： ①罪から離れる ②神に属する者となる
・イエスの時代の律法学者や、現代の宗教家たちは、①➝②の順に起こると思う。しかし、神の方法は違う。
◆旧約聖書における神のわざ
・神は、到底潔白とは言えないアブラハムをお招きになり、その招きに信仰によって応えた彼の子孫を『ご自分
の民』とされた(②)。そしてその後モーセを通して「聖さの基準」を知らせた(①)。
・しかし民は「神に属する民」という自覚を次第に失い、神からの警告にも関らず、罪に溺れるようになった。
◆新約聖書における神のわざ
・神は、イエスによる贖いのみわざによって人々をお招きになり、招きに応じた私たちに『神の子とされる特権』
をお与えになった(②)。また信じる者に聖霊を与え、その導きに従う者を罪の習慣からさえも解放される(①)。
・もし『神の子としての特権』に甘んじ、「聖霊による神との親密な関係」を軽んじるなら、『聖さ』は失われていく。
◆[Ⅰペテロ ２：9-10]
・私たちは「選ばれ」「聖なる国民」とされ「神の所有」とされた。それは「胎児を慈しむ母親の愛」のような、また
「約束を必ず守る誠実な父親の愛」のような『神の憐れみ』による。まさにこれは「イエス・キリストの十字架」
において表現された神の愛。[ローマ１２：1-2]
✯『聖さ』とは、この神の憐れみに圧倒された私たちが「神と共に生きること」を最大の喜びとして歩むこと。

◆ What is “Holiness”？
・Literal translation of Hebrew word. ＝ “Separate from others”. ① Separate from sins. ② Become of God.
・Religious people say that ① must happen first, then ②. Yet for God it doesn’t go that way.
◆ How did God do in Old Testament？
・God invited Abraham from secular world. God blessed him and made him “His nation” because Abraham
responded to God by faith(②). Then God gave them an instruction through Moses to be away from sins(①).
・People gradually turned their eyes away from God, stopped listening to Him and gave themselves over to sins.
◆ How did God do in New Testament？
・God is inviting everyone of this world. God gave us His only Son, Jesus, and the right to become “children of
God” for those who accept Jesus.(②). God gives His Spirit for those who believe in Him, and leads them
into Holiness by the guidance of the Spirit(①).
・We may lose “His Holiness” if we neglect “the right to become God’s children” and ‘building intimacy with
God by His Spirit’.
◆[ⅠPeter ２：9-10]
・We are ‘chosen’, ‘holy nation’ and ‘belong to God’. This is all because of “God’s mercy” which is like
‘mother’s love caring her baby in her womb’ and ‘father’s love being faithful for his promise’. This is LOVE
God expressed through Christ Jesus on the cross！[Romans１２：1-2]
✯“Holiness” is ‘To be overwhelmed by this God’s mercy and walk with Him with indescribable joy.
