説教あらすじ 「『契約』による神との関係」 (09/02/2014)
[ガラテヤ 3：15-22]
◆「契約・約束」と「律法」 [１７～１８節]
・人間の場合であっても、父親は子供に対する『約束』を何としても守ろうとする。それは「相手がそれにふさわ
しいから」ではなく、一方的な愛の故。『律法』は「神からの条件」ではなく、むしろ「神の性質・願い」の表現。
・神が律法を与えたのは、「私たちがそれにふさわしくないにも関わらず、神は私たちを『子』と認めてくださる」
という、ご自身の驚くべき恵みを私たちに分からせるため。
＊では何故すべての人が自動的に救われるようにしないのか？ 私たちに「拒む余地」を残した。
◆「律法」ではなく、「信仰」による [２１～２２節]
＊何故神は「行い」ではなく、そこまで「信仰」にこだわるのか？
― アダム＆エバと神との関係が壊れた原因は、彼らが「禁断の木の実を食べた」という『行為』ではなく
「神の（「必ず死ぬ」という）ことばよりも、悪魔の言うことを信じた」という『信仰』の問題だから。
・「神への信仰」が結果として「神に対する従順の行為」として現される。
・神が求めておられるのは「形だけの従順」ではなく『関係』。だからこそ、強制はできない。（これが神のみこころ！）
ただ、自分で下した選択の結果は、自分で刈り取ることになる。（アダムとエバのように…）
✯今日も神は「律法（私たちの行い）」ではなく、「ご自身の変わらない約束」によって『関係』へと招く

[Galatians 3：15-22]
◆ “The promises(covenant)” and “The law”. [Verses 17-18]
・Even earthly fathers do their best to keep promises to their children. It is not because their children deserve
it but just because of love. “The law” is not ‘conditions’ but the expression of ‘God’s natural desire’.
・God gave us ‘the law’ to show us His “amazing grace” which makes us His children even though we are not
deserve it at all！
＊Then why doesn’t God simply save us all？ He has given us “the choice”.
◆ Not by “The law” but “Faith”. [Verses 21-22]
＊Why is God that much particular about “Faith”？
― Because it was “matter of faith” which destroyed the relationship between first human and God.
It was not just ‘the act’ that Adam & Eve ate the fruit, but they believed the word of the devil
rather than “the Word of God”.
・“Act of obedience” is the result of “Faith to God”.
・God’s desire is not our ‘formal obedience’ but “relationship” with us. This is why God never force us！
However, there will always be “consequences” of our choices. (As there was one for Adam & Eve…)
✯God is inviting us today to “Relationship” not by our ‘action’ but through His ‘covenant’
