説教あらすじ 「エゴー・エイミ」 (21/04/2013)
[ヨハネ18: 1-11]
＊この部分での「ヨハネの福音書ならでは」の特徴が２つある。
①「ゲッセマネの祈り」[マルコ14:36]の描写がない。 ②「ユダによる口づけ」の場面がない。
◆なぜ「ゲッセマネの祈り」の描写がないのか？
・この「ゲッセマネの園（オリーブ山の一部）」はイエスのお気に入りの場所だった。[１～２節，ルカ21:37, 22:39-40]
いつもイエスの側にいたヨハネは、もしかしたらイエスのこのような祈りをひんぱんに見ていたのかもしれない。
・[１１節] も、ヨハネだけの表現。ヨハネは確かに「ゲッセマネの祈り」を知っていた。しかし、彼にとってはむしろ この「心の定まったイエスの姿」が、より印象に残ったに違いない。
◆イエスの主体性
・「ユダの口づけ」は、暗がりの中で人々にイエスを見分けさせるため。しかしこの場面では、むしろイエスは自ら
「あなたがたが捕らえようとしているのは、他ならぬこのわたしだ！」と名乗り出ている。[４～５節]
・「それはわたしです（エゴー・エイミ）」という表現は、ヨハネの福音書にしばしば登場する。イエスは人々に真理を
示すのに「哲学的な教え」ではなく、ご自身を指し示した。（「わたしが『いのちのパン』『世の光』『道・真理・いのち』」など）
・私たちは『神』をイメージする時、ほとんどの場合「自分の都合に合わせた理想」に基づいて造り上げる。しかし
神の真の姿（性質）を知るためには、イエスを見なければならない。また、聖書を読む時、つい「道徳的な教え」
「幸福の秘訣」などに注目するが、イエスは言われた。[ヨハネ5:39-40] 聖書は本来イエスに注目させるため。
☆今日もイエスは、私たち１人１人に向かって次のようにおっしゃっている。
『エゴー･エイミ』「あなたがずっと求めてきたもの、『それはわたしです』。」

＊We can find 2 remarkable events missing at this part of story.
①“Prayer in Gethsemane”.[Mark 14:36] ②“Judas’ kiss”.
◆ Why is “Prayer in Gethsemane” missing？
・「Gethsemane grove （part of the Mount of Olives）」 is a favorite place of Jesus. [Verses １～２，Luke 21:37, 22:39-40]
John might have seen Jesus praying with groans here quite often for he was closest to Jesus.
・Expression of [Verse 11] is also only by John. He surely knew 「Prayer in Gethsemane」. For him, however,
this 「Jesus with his mind all set」 must be more impressive and attractive.
◆ Initiative of Jesus.
・In other books of gospel, Judas kissed Jesus to show people who of them Jesus is. But here Jesus is showing
up himself by saying : “I am he (Ego eimi)”. [Verses ４～５] Jesus taught people the truth not by telling stories
but by pointing himself. (He said, “I am ‘the bread of life’ ‘the light of the world’ ‘the way, the truth and the life’” etc)
・We make up our 『God』 in our own image. To know the true God, we have to see Jesus.
・We read the Bible to learn how to live or to seek wisdom for prosperity. But Jesus said : [John 5:39-40]
☆ Jesus talks to each one of us today, ‘Ego eimi’. “I am the one that you have been looking for！”
